Purpose:
Jacket Battalion Booster Club is a support organization that helps sustain and enhance the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program at St Augustine High School. The main purpose of Jacket Battalion Boosters is to support the cadets, instructors, and program as a whole, typically through fundraising, community engagement, and providing resources that might not be covered by the school's budget. In essence, JBB will help ensure that the program remains strong and sustainable, providing additional support that goes beyond the resources provided by the school district and Army.
GOAL & OBJECTIVE
GOAL
To determine fundraising efforts to support the needs relative to the maintaining and growth of the SAHS JROTC Program.
To create a yearly budget to ascertain what the needs of the SAHS JROTC program are.
Provide every SAHS JROTC cadet a coordinating PT Uniform.
Obstacle course on SAHS grounds to support the physical growth of the cadets, assist in the preparation for Raider Team events and become a host of the Raider Events.
OBJECTIVE
Scholarship opportunities for Seniors to support their academic ventures.
To ensure every cadet is able to fully participate in 4 full years of the SAHS JROTC program regardless of financial status.
